After you’ve shopped ‘til you’ve almost dropped, take a stroll through Legacy Park – right across the street from Ada Hotel. 

There’s often fun events happening in the amphitheater.

Be sure to walk a little farther and see the historic covered bridge. 

Visiting during the holidays? Legacy Park along with downtown Ada get all decked out for Ada Winter Wonderland from early December to the end of January.

The Ada Hotel has two incredible restaurants located on-site – and you don’t have to be a guest of the hotel in order to enjoy them.

Rix, the rooftop terrace restaurant, makes the perfect brunch spot.

There’s nothing like sipping a fresh OJ (or a Bloody Mary if you’re feeling bold) while watching the city wake up. And the eggs benedict? Chef’s kiss.

Rix’s is open for brunch on weekends only from 10 AM – 2 PM. Reservations are recommended, though walk-ins are also accepted.

At night, the rooftop at Rix really shines. It’s hard to beat unwinding by the fireplace with a glass of wine (or cocktail!) as the city lights twinkle below.

The restaurant is open 4 PM – 10 PM or 11 PM Tues – Sat (9 PM Sun, closed Mon).

When it’s time to switch things up, The Post Tavern offers a more relaxed lunch or dinner vibe. 

Situated on the ground floor, the menu here doesn’t disappoint. With everything from two hearted IPA cheese dip  and Deviled Eggs to shepherd’s pie and a juicy smash burger, you might have a hard time deciding what to order. 

Whatever you do, don’t skip dessert – the warm cookie skillet is mouth-watering good. 

And, if you want to spread some cheer, write a note on one of the Post’s “Sip It Forward” postcards. Hand that to your server, along with a recipient’s name, cash out, and you’ve pre-purchased drinks for friends.
