The Gardens Are a Year-Round Spectacle

It’s impossible not to find yourself wandering around the grounds and taking in the sights of all the different gardens.

Local favorites are:

  • Japanese Garden (home to the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in the springtime)
  • Woodland Shade Garden (the crown jewel of the gardens in the autumn months)
  • Tropical Conservatory (stop here in early spring to walk amongst thousands of butterflies, or make this your warm-up spot in the cold winter months)

Take in Art Among Nature

While you wander, you may find yourself becoming more intrigued by the sculptural art all around you.

Not to be missed are The American Horse, Grand Rapids Arch, Neuron, and Gilded Champagne Gardens Chandelier. These stunning pieces, along with dozens more, are on display year-round.

Don’t miss out on the special art exhibitions which only stick around for a few months at a time.
