GR City Pool Passes Up for Grab
Summer’s looking good in Grand Rapids!
Season pool passes are officially available for the city’s three public pools, and they’re a steal, especially if you grab them early.
RESIDENTS
Youth (17 and under): Free until June 6, then $5
Adults (over 17): $10
NONRESIDENTS
Youth (17 and under): $10
Adults (over 17): $20
Passes cover all public swim hours from June 6 through August 16, 2025, so you can swim your heart out all summer long.
You can order your season pass online through the City of Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department.
Where to Swim
Grand Rapids runs three public pools, all ready to help you beat the heat:
- Briggs Park Pool, 350 Knapp St NE
- Richmond Park Pool, 1101 Richmond St NW
- MLK Park Pool, 1200 MLK Jr. St SE
Public swim hours run:
Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12 to 7 PM,
and Sundays from 12:30 to 4:30 PM.
Pools are closed on Mondays to rest up for the week.

Day Pool Passes Available, Too
If you miss the free pass window, regular admission at the pools will cost:
Residents:
- $3 for youth (17 and under)
- $6 for adults
Nonresidents:
- $5 for youth
- $10 for adults
Private Pool Rentals
Want the whole pool to yourself?
You can rent a city pool for private events. Up to 100 people can splash around during a private rental.
Perfect for a birthday party, family reunion, or just an epic summer hangout.
Good to Know
Bonus: City Splash pads are free for everyone and stay open a little longer, through September 14.
