Asian-Pacific Festival

June 12 & 13, 2026

Where is it?  Calder Plaza (300 Monroe Ave NW)

What is it? A free, two-day festival celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander cultures with tons of authentic food vendors (Korean, Vietnamese, Indian, Filipino, etc.)

Highlights – Live music, and traditional dance performances, along with a K-pop dance competition

Pride Festival

June 20 & 21, 2026

Where is it? Calder Plaza

What is it? GR’s Pride Festival is an annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, connection and inclusion

Highlights – Live entertainment, food court and beer tents, 200 vendor booths, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Also noteworthy – 2026 marks the expansion from a one day event to a full two day weekend. This big milestone portrays how much this celebration has grown in popularity.

Where? Riverside Park near baseball diamonds

What is it? An outdoor summer festival centered around Mexican inspired food and drinks

July 9 – 11, 2026

Where? Riverfront near Lowell Riverwalk

What? Lowell’s signature summer celebration, transforming downtown into a hub of community celebration

Highlights – Live music at the riverfront, Riverwalk marketplace, food vendors, car show, 5K Run the Riverwalk and Saturday night fireworks over the Flat River

July 17 & 18, 2026

Where? Belknap Park

What? Largest multiple day rock music festival in West MI

Highlights – Multiple stages, nonstop music, festival food and local vendors, all ages, high energy crowd with Belknap’s unique hilltop setting. This year the headliners are Gojira on Friday and Papa Roach on Saturday.

What? An annual celebration of Greek culture

August 14 & 15, 2026

Where? Belknap Park

What? A two day electronic dance music festival that brings nationally known DJs and producers to GR.

Hightlights – Multiple stages, immersive production, food and beverage vendors, EDM artists and a unique hilltop setting

Return to the River Festival

August 22 & 23, 2026

Where? Stretches through the Monroe North riverfront area, near 555 Monroe and the Sixth St. Bridge

What? Return to the River is a celebration of the city’s riverfront and public spaces.

Highlights – Festivalgoers can wander between stages, art installations, maker markets, food trucks and performance areas connected by the riverwalk. Giant interactive art installations make it feel different from other festivals. Dozens of bands and DJs too.
